Mission Statement


The Klickitat County Department of Emergency Management’s (KCDEM) mission is to provide robust disaster mitigation, response, recovery, and public outreach through various emergency management programs. The E-9-1-1 Dispatch function of KCDEM is dedicated to providing prompt, courteous, and professional handling of all 9-1-1 and non emergent calls. It is our mission to protect life and property by delivering professional, effective and compassionate 9-1-1 public safety communications to the public and public safety responders of Klickitat County.
