NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Klickitat County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in the Klickitat County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 205 S. Columbus, Goldendale, WA. THE PURPOSE of said hearing is to hear all interested parties who wish to testify for or against a proposal to amend the Klickitat County Code and Zoning Ordinance to conform to Senate Bill 6593, prohibiting discrimination against consumers’ choices in housing. The proposed amendments to the Klickitat County Code and Zoning Ordinance would revise definitions so as to allow mobile homes/manufactured homes to be sited anywhere single-family housing is allowed. The Board of County Commissioners will accept written comments for or against the proposal and following the hearing may approve, approve with modifications or reject the proposed amendments. Written comments may be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners, County Courthouse, 205 S. Columbus MS-CH 4, Goldendale, WA 98620. Copies of the proposed amendments may be obtained by contacting the Klickitat County Planning Department, 228 West Main, Goldendale, WA 98620 or calling 509-773-5703.
