WIC is a free nutritional program that provides assessment, counseling and supplemental foods based on the nutritional needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to five years of age. Qualifying for the program is based on income/ size of family and nutritional or medical need. WIC helps give pregnant and breastfeeding moms, infants and children a healthy start with:
