THURSDAY, AUGUST 24, 2006

7:00 a.m. – Fair Office open

7:00 a.m. – All stalls and alleys must be cleaned.

8:00 a.m. – Executive Board Meeting

8:00 a.m. – Still Life Building opens

8:00 a.m. – HORSE CLASSES BEGIN – starting with Pee Wees.

ALL WESTERN CLASSES: Western Equitation,

4-H Equitation Championship, Pleasure, Command, Costume Class.

8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Trail – in Warm-up Arena.

8:00 a.m. – Judge Market Goats

8:30 a.m. – Pee Wee, Novice, Junior Non-Dairy Goat Showmanship

8:30 a.m. – Adult Novice Non-Dairy Goat Judging

8:30 a.m. – Swine Exhibitors Meeting in the Multi-purpose Building

8:30 a.m. – Judge 4-H and FFA Market Swine – Breeding and Open Classes to follow.

8:30 a.m. – Judge 4-H and FFA Market Lambs – Breeding and Open Classes to follow.

9:00 a.m. – Miniature Horse classes begin.

9:30 a.m. – Judge Youth, 4-H and FFA Dairy Goats

10:00 a.m. – Judge 4-H and FFA Market Steers – Breeding and Open Classes to follow.

11:00 a.m. – GROUNDS ENTERTAINMENT BEGINS

1:00 p.m. – Adult Non-Dairy Goat Showmanship followed by Intermediates and Seniors.

2:00 p.m. – Adult Dairy Goat Showmanship followed by Intermediates and Seniors.

4:00 p.m. – Judge Harness Goat and Pack Goat classes

4:00 p.m. – WESTERN GAMES BEGIN – Barrels first.

5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – COUNTY PRODUCTS KICK-OFF BARBEQUE

6:30 p.m. – COWBOY AUCTION

7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – COWBOY POETRY AND SONG

8:00 p.m. – Still Life Building closes

10:00 p.m. – CURFEW – ALL ANIMALS SHOULD BE CHECKED AND ALL BARNS CLEARED OF EXHIBITORS

 

FRIDAY, AUGUST 25, 2006

7:00 a.m. – Fair Office open

7:00 a.m. – All stalls and alleys must be cleaned.

8:00 a.m. – Still Life Building opens

8:00 a.m. – Executive Board Meeting

8:00 a.m. – HORSE CLASSES BEGIN – starting with Pee Wees.

Versatility, English Equitation, 4-H Equitation Championship, English Pleasure.

8:30 a.m. – Adult Dairy Goat Judging

8:30 a.m. – Pee Wee, Novice and Junior Dairy Goat Showmanship begins.

9:00 a.m. – Sheep Showmanship begins

9:00 a.m. – Swine Showmanship begins

9:00 a.m. – Beef Showmanship begins

9:00 a.m. – Rabbit Showmanship begins followed by Conformation classes.

EXHIBITORS MUST BE PRESENT DURING JUDGING

9:00 a.m. – Poultry Showmanship begins followed by Conformation classes

EXHIBITORS MUST BE PRESENT DURING JUDGING

9:00 a.m. – Miniature Horse classes begin followed by Driving Equine classes

9:30 a.m. – Youth, 4-H and FFA Non-Dairy Goat Judging

11:00 a.m. – GROUNDS ENTERTAINMENT BEGINS

NOON - Judge 4-H and FFA Dairy Cattle – Open classes to follow

1:00 p.m. – ALL-AROUND SHOWMANSHIP CONTEST (Beef, Dairy Cattle, Dairy Goats, Meat Goats, Sheep, Swine and Horses.)

3:00 p.m. – TEAM PENNING AND BRANDING EVENTS BEGIN – FOLLOWED BY RANCH SORTING

Western Games Awards will be presented between Team Penning and Branding events.

8:00 p.m. – Still Life Building closes

10:00 p.m. – CURFEW – ALL ANIMALS SHOULD BE CHECKED AND ALL BARNS CLEARED OF EXHIBITORS.

 

 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 26, 2006

6:00 a.m. – Work Arena and Stock

7:00 a.m. – Fair Office opens

7:00 a.m. – All stalls and alleys must be cleaned.

7:00 a.m. – Bench Show for Dogs begins

8:00 a.m. – Executive Board Meeting

8:00 a.m. – Goat Milking Contest

8:30 a.m. – COUNTY TEAM ROPING – FINALS TO FOLLOW

9:00 a.m. – Still Life Building opens

9:00 a.m. – PARADE PARTICIPANTS ASSEMBLE AT THE

GOLDENDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL

9:00 a.m. – Sheep Costume class

10:00 a.m. – DOWNTOWN PARADE STARTS

10:00 a.m. – Dog Obedience classes begin

11:00 a.m. – GROUNDS ENTERTAINMENT BEGINS

11:30 a.m. – Goat Calling Contest

11:45 a.m. – PARADE OF CHAMPIONS

12:15 p.m. – Grain Growers Award presented

12:30 p.m. – RODEO starts

3:00 p.m. – Bench Show for Dogs ends

3:30 p.m. – MARKET STOCK SALE begins

4:00 p.m. – FFA BARBEQUE begins

7:00 p.m. – RANCH CUTTING begins

8:00 p.m. – TEAM PENNING AND BRANDING FINALS followed by RANCH SORTING FINALS

8:00 p.m. – Still Life Building closes

10:00 a.m. – Dog Agility

10:30 a.m. – GROUNDS ENTERTAINMENT BEGINS

12:15 p.m. – LIVESTOCK PARADE

1:00 p.m. – State Fair Sign-up – 4-H Department

1:00 p.m. – RODEO starts

1:30 p.m. – Goat Obstacle/Agility Contest

5:00 p.m. – ALL EXHIBITS WILL BE RELEASED

6:00 p.m. – Still Life Building closes
