2015 Residential Energy Code 
  • 2015 Energy Code Handout - This information is to be completed (including applicable credits) and submitted with your building permit application for heated residential structures. Additional information for your whole house ventilation option selection may be obtained by selecting the relative document which is listed separately. If you need only the Duct Leakage Affidavit(s), the 201 WSEC Residential Energy Compliance Certificate or the Insulation Certificate for Residential New Construction, they are also listed separately.
  • Building Air Leakage/Blower Door Testing (2015) - Effective July 1, 2013 - This document provides information pertaining to Building Air Leakage Testing as required for all residential construction and additions.
  • Duct Testing Affidavit - New Construction (2015) - Effective July 1, 2013, If applicable, this form must be completed by a certified testing agency and submitted to the Building Department for all new construction residential structures. Occupancy of the structure cannot be allowed if this requirement has not been completed.
  • Duct Leakage Affidavit - Existing Construction (2015) - Effective July 1, 2013 - If applicable, this form must be completed by a certified testing agency and submitted to the Building Department for existing residential structures. Testing of existing ducts shall occur with replacement of the air handler, outdoor condensing unit of a split system air conditioner or heat pump, cooling or heating coil, or the furnace heat exchange. Structures shall be considered in non-compliance without testing.
  • Insulation Certificate for Residential New Construction (2015) - Effective July 1, 2013 - This form must be completed by the insulation installer and submitted to the Building Department for all residential new construction structures. Occupancy of the structure cannot be allowed if this requirement has not been completed.
  • Residential Energy Compliance Certificate (2015) - Effective July 1, 2013 - This form must be completed and posted within 3 feet of the electrical supply panel for all new residences. Certificate must be completely filled out and posted at time of final inspection.

ANSI Standards 
ANSI Standards A225.1 - 1994 Manufactured Home Installations  A relocated (used) mobile/manufactured home shall be installed as per the manufacturer's approved installation instructions. If the manufacturer's installation instructions are unavailable, the home shall be installed as per the ANSI A225.1 - Manufactured Homes Installation, 1994 edition instructions or the instructions of a professional engineer or architect licensed in the state of Washington. If the provisions of ANSI A225.1 or the instructions of a professional engineer or architect are used for installation, all applicable requirements of Klickitat County Code 16.28.040(A) and 16.28.040(B) shall also be followed.
